Poise & Petite Hair Clip and Brooch

Today’s Etsy giveaway is from FloraBond…Busy mom and lover of vintage and handmade! Livin in Idaho, but from Tacoma/Seattle area and miss it!! Hello everyone in Seattle, I miss you and the shopping!
Flora Bond was started in September of 2008, and soon after started a line of vintage fabric flower necklaces and accessories.

My passion is to design custom wedding necklaces and millinery. Flora Bond has done many custom wedding designs and would be happy to help put together a wonderful necklace to accent your dress. Necklaces and accessories are designed around the fabric, neckline, and color of your dress.

I would love to help create a special custom Flora Bond necklace, brooch, earrings, hairpiece or bracelet. A purchase with me is a personal and special experience. You tell me your thoughts, I convo you options, then you tell me your ideas and thoughts on my options etc. We work together and create an amazing Flora Bond design.

My rosettes are handmade using 5 different methods depending on the look I am after and the fabric used. They are secured to a backing sometimes and then always, needle sculpted (hand stitched through the flowers) until they are perfection! Hard work I know, but so worth it! Every necklace has a soft cotton backing.

90% of my fabrics are vintage/repurposed and 95% of my chains are vintage. I make an effort to describe what goes into my designs so you know how hard I work and just how wonderful the components and fabrics are. Thank you for your support!!
Feel free to convo me anytime with a question or even to say hi!

Flora Bond fabric necklaces are in Boutiques in the USA, Japan, and in the cutest little high end boutique Lemon Meringue downtown IF. My Necklaces are also featured for sale at the Craft and Folk Art Museum in CA, and also in Richmond, Virginia. www.quirkgallery.com

22 Feb, 2010 by in etsy, vintage 16 comments

Today’s giveaway is from Etsy seller Green Cricket. I am a huge vintage fisher price fan, so I thought these little beauties would be perfect for MOM’s Monday!

Her bio: Part treasure hunter, part explorer, part salvage artist.

Welcome to Green Cricket and thanks for stopping by.

Restoring unwanted thrift, salvaging curbside castoffs and overall treasure hunting are at the heart of my shop. I am always experimenting and evolving my craft, so its often a surprise what you will find.

Besides my larger furniture pieces, my latest finds include vintage Fisher Price people, groovy LP’s and retro reels of film. My shop also includes a little vintage….all that treasure hunting unearths some awesome finds that I just have to share.

To check out past transformations, see what inspires me and to get a sneak peek at upcoming projects, check out my blog.
