A mistaken identity…
…a proposal that changes everything!

Review
The first thing I noticed about this book was the design. In print, it is a pocket sized, larger print format with a bright cover and flexible pages. I loved reading the smaller book as it was easy to hold and turn the pages. Simple choice by the publisher which made it fun! The content makes this one an unforgettable summer read set in an Italian villa. Two main characters show their points of view. Gianna is exhausted from camping in tents and roughing it as a film crew member for a movie star who is high maintenance and has just dumped her. She shows up to her town to be greeted by a dog she doesn’t know, but who seems to know her house. Dario is a business executive helping to run his family business, trying to break away on a writer’s retreat in a rented villa. All he wants is some peace and quiet to crank out book two in a best selling series, but gets much more than he bargained for.
I couldn’t put this one down! There is so much spunk in the storyline. Dario’s business reminded me of Shilling or McCormick spices in the U.S. and the inner working put some achievement oriented distance in his familial relationships. Gianna is patient as he cranks past writer’s block. Bound by a Ring and a Promise hooked me fro the first page and makes a wonderful escape. Thanks to the author and publisher for the complimentary copy and my first read of Summer!
Content: Fade to black love scene, mention of sex.
