Hey all, It’s Bloggiesta time! Ole

What is bloggiesta you ask? I’ll let the experts at Bloggiesta.com fill you in

So happy to meet you today & read your starting line.

I am on Triberr but I can’t for the life of me figure it out. When you do, let me know. :~)

We also have switchover to WordPress on our lists. A kindred spirit!

So I’ve set up a free WordPress site to back up my blog. Should I play around with that or would it ge totally different than the version with plug ins? Do you design? WordPress.org or WordPress.com?

I swear I have had learn SEO on my Bloggiesta list like the last 3 times and I still haven’t really learned about it. I didn’t put it on my list this time around.

I too have looked into switching to wordpress in a bloggiesta. I did A LOT of research. I went to word press and even set up a practice blog and just decided it wasn’t for me. I haven’t really had any issues with Blogger so I guess I am here to stay.

Then I see where you are talking about your posts auto centering. One time I had some REAL issues with my comments on blogger. It was replying to comments. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I ended up having to have delete my template and add it back in. You could give that a go. Here is the post on it: http://angelasanxiouslife.blogspot.com/2013/07/blog-comment-template-crazyness.html

Phew… OK… that was a lot of stuff!! LOL!! Good Luck!

I need to learn more about it. I’ve been blogging since 2008 and still have SO much I don’t know! Thank you! guess what’s frustrating is that it seems to add all kinds of funky formatting and extra stuff in the HTML code. I have a custom template so an scared to reinstall. But it would be nice to simplify, maybe white background instead of the black damask design. I just want a cleaner more simple site.

Great list, and it looks like you’ve made quite a bit of progress (not me!). What is dvlr it? Must go look that up.

My blog was designed by Lori of Pure Imagination, she’s amazing! And I made the switch to WordPress and haven’t regretted it a single time!

Looks like you are making good progress on your to-do items. I am a blogger girl and every once in a while debate whether I should make the switch to wordpress. But I love my design and I’m not sure I can get that in wordpress. Oh well, for now, blogger works for me.

Good luck getting the rest of your list done!
